Dark hair is beautiful, and definitely making a comeback! Think of rich & dark shiny hair, seen on mega-stars like Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, and Rihanna. Be advised-this is a very hard color to pull off. You have to have an olive skin tone or be in your early 20’s for this one. (Otherwise, it’s a very aging color and can look harsh.) Done right though, you can look exotic and sexy. Raven hair is more dramatic and looks best simple and not overdone or highlighted. Also its best to get clear glosses to maintain the shine.

ICYDK, celebrities really are just like us! And how may you ask do we know this? Well, thanks to Dr. Graf, author of Stop Aging, Start Living, she was able to get some insight during her recent trip to L.A. for the 60th Annual Emmys. While there, she spent some time with a few celebs at the WOW! Creations Gifting Lounge, where she found out a few concerns regarding beauty, health and wellness, most of them being the same ones she hears from her regular patients. Here’s what they had to share –
Many had questions and common anxieties with how lifestyle affects the body both on the inside and the out.
Many are experiencing high stress levels, caffeine intake, unhealthy eating habits (mostly due to TV and film shoots) and lack of sleep.
Both men and women spoke to Dr. Graf about the use of heavy makeup combined with lights resulting in clogged pores and acne.
Good skin is key when it comes to the newest technology, HD TV, which as we all know, enhances the tiniest of flaws.
Dr. Graf also had a booth where she was testing pH (which is a huge factor when it comes to overall health and beauty) and found that the people with the healthiest numbers (7.0 - 7.5 is ideal) were the ones who were careful about what they ate and drank, aware of how much of a link it is between appearance, diet and energy. But Dr. Graf, the pro she is, was already able to tell this even before testing these certain ones.
