Have I ever told you about my love affair with lube? Well, one of my biggest fears in life is dry, cracked hands (the other is dry, cracked lips). As a result, lotion very well may be my all-time favorite beauty product. I love love love lotion. I have a serious addiction when it comes to hydrating my hands. On any given day, whenever Lauren happens to look up, she’ll most likely bust me massaging a sweet-smelling cream into my hands. Here, I share my favorites. Go ahead and lube up!

So, yesterday I had a thought. As I’m sure you already know, Glam Media blog’s are still relatively new – I mean, we (as in Glam.com editors) just jumped into the blog world a few months ago and started typing away! But seriously, who are we?

Now’s your chance to find out. We’re going to play a weekly game of blog tag where we pass the same question between the five of us (India-Jewel – GlamBlush, Lauren – GlamScene, Susan – GlamChic, Nicole – GlamSpree, and Annie - GlamLive). I’ll start. Here, I’ll tell you Ten things you probably don’t know about me…

1. I wholeheartedly-without-a-shadow-of-a-doubt wish I could have tried out to be the 7th member of The Pussycat Dolls. I love those girls. They’re the best. Buttons is STILL my ringtone.

2. Every now and then (ok, ok – twice a week), I go to the gym just to lounge in the steam room. The steam is infused with this eucalyptus spray that opens my nasal passage, clears my mind and rejuvenates my spirit. I love NYSC!

3. I have a secret getaway spot in the Dominican Republic. I like to visit this little secluded beach there at least once a year. It’s so private – I’m not even going to tell you where it is! Honestly, no one really hangs there – it’s a sheltered spot only a few loyal tourists know about. The grilled fish and veggies are FANTASTIC and fresh, the water is crystal clear, the sand is super soft, and I can ALWAYS find a plush lounge chair with my name on it.

4. I’m secretly over Myspace. The spammers are wearing me out – they are so crafty! I totally can’t handle it anymore. GLAMSPACE is where I kick it now. No spam, no crazies – just folks chit-chatting about beauty and fashion.

5. A large chocolate milkshake from McDonald’s can brighten even the gloomiest day.

6. Cheaters is the best TV show. EVER.

7. I comb my hair maybe once a week. My curls are so much more fun when I wash them and just let them be. I let the curls fall where they may.

8. I am in LOVE with The Townhouse Spa in NYC. A facial with Heidi puts me on cloud nine. Seriously, go see her - 39 W. 56th St. btw 6th and 7th.

9. Black is my all-time favorite color. To wear, to dye my hair, for my apartment décor – I like black. Black, black, black. Inky black.

10. Even though I’m in my mid-twenties, my favorite magazine is Teen Vogue. Today, tomorrow, always – Teen Vogue. Even when I’m in my forties – my daughter and I will most definitely share a Teen Vogue subscription.

Hi GLAM girls!

Guess what? Last night was truly a night to remember. Yours truly turned up on the rooftop of the Hotel Gansevoort for the Nylon 8th Anniversary shindig. It was sooooooo much fun. Seriously – everyone was there! Justin Timberlake, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Eve, Fonzworth Bentley, Joss Stone, Lance Bass, and… none other than the event’s hostess-slash-current Nylon covergirl Christina Aguilera (and her husband Jordan Bratman, who was attached to her hip all night). It was definitely the hottest ticket in town.

I have to say – the gift bags were kick ass. A totally cute black patent leather BB Dakota tote filled to the brim of goodies, including the new Christina Aguilera CD and KY Jelly (which was so random – then I realized they were the sponsor), plus gift certificates, t-shirts, and trinkets.

Oodles and oodles of celebs and swag on a Wednesday night - what could be better? Oh, and kudos to Nylon for the exclusive invite!

So what if she’s a globetrotting, smack-talking party girl, don’t you just love her? She’s BEYOND stylish, incredibly edgy, and just plain fun. I really get into her – she really knows how to let loose and have fun. BTW, I saw her at the CKIN2U party a couple of weeks ago, and she looked so good. Not only the outfit (which was effortlessly chic), but I was more mesmerized by her smoldering stare – I mean, seriously, she can pull off heavy eyeliner like no other!
