Anyone who is anyone in the world of beauty has passed through the doors of the The Makeup Show NYC  over the past two days. ICYDK, it’s a cosmetics tradeshow–a big beauty bonanza for editors, makeup artists, and everyone else in between!

So here’s what went on under the roof of the Metropolitan Pavilion. Aside from peer-to-peer networking, there were over 40 seminars, lectures, and workshops given by world renowned makeup artists, brand owners, experts, and publicists. Keynote speakers included celebrity makeup artist Billy B., renowned body painter & makeup artist Joanne Gair, and makeup artist Joanna Schlip.

Plenty of big beauty brands showed up to show off their current and new collections, including M.A.C., Stila, Three Custom Color, Becca, Shu Uemura, Giorgio Armani, and Victoria’s Secret Beauty, as well as several indie brands – Face Atelier, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, Iredale Mineral Cosmetics, Awake, and Naked Cosmetics, amongst many others.There were so many booths – I couldn’t possibly stop by them all.
