Maybe I watch a little too much TV, but lately I’ve found myself wishing and hoping and thinking and praying that Sarah Jessica Parker‘s new commercial for Covet (her latest fragrance) comes on a least once during each commercial break. She actually stars as a French frilly frock-wearing fragrance felon! Have you seen it? It’s SO cute! I’m absolutely OBSESSED!!!!!

So, is it just me, or does she look ridiculously reminiscent of the always adorable Carrie Bradshaw? Let’s see. Fabulous, flowing, flawless hair? Check. A dramatic couture Christian LaCroix dress? Check. A $700 pair of Louboutins? Check. A beautiful Parisian background? Check. Seems to me as if SJP will never ever get away from the constant Carrie Bradshaw comparisons… (not that it’s a bad thing – admit it – you still watch reruns of Sex and the City!)

Back to the fragrance. With a plethora of celebrity scents flooding the market right now, Covet truly stands out, in a good way. Notes include wet greens(?!?!), chocolate, honeysuckle, magnolia, amber, musk, and lavender. I know, I know, it sounds likes a weird concoction, but it actually works. It’s a seductive, soft ‘n sugary scent that lingers subtly throughout the day.
