ICYDK, Beyoncé is singing Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend, the song made famous by Marilyn Monroe, in the new Emporio Armani Diamonds commercial.

Says Giorgio Armani on his choice of Ms. Knowles as the face/voice of his newest scent, “There is no one today who transcends music, film and fashion in the way that Beyoncé does… Beyoncé is pure sensuality… she represents perfectly the energy, style and sensuality that inspires the Emporio Armani lifestyle.”

As usual, she hits a home run…love her look, love her voice, she’s actually managed to pique my interest in the scent. Have you seen the video of the entire commercial?

As for the fragrance, it’s a floral scent. Notes include lychee, raspberry, rose, freesia, lily of the valley, vetiver, cedar wood, patchouli, and vanilla. Head over to Macy’s if you want a bottle – for the 1.7oz EDP, it’s only $49.50.
