Sometimes I feel like I see Chudney Ross everywhere. Fashion shows, red carpets, movie premieres… everywhere. You’d think the daughter of Diana Ross would be a double diva, but actually she’s one of the most genuine people I’ve ever encountered. Not fully content with just being a paparazzi magnet, Chudney Ross is definitely interested in carving out a substantial famous future of her own. Here’s what she had to share before the Marc Bouwer show…

GlamBlush: Who are your favorite designers?
Chudney Ross: I like young hip designers, like this LA designer named Megan. I also adore Marc Bouwer.

GlamBlush: What’s your personal style?
Chudney Ross: I like to switch it up – sometimes I look girly, and sometimes I’ll wear something conservative like Ralph Lauren, and then some days I like to ‘rock it up.’

GlamBlush: What’s your favorite makeup brand?
Chudney Ross: MAC all the way. You know, my mom did that line for MAC and I actually still use it.

GlamBlush: Where’s your favorite place to vacation?
Chudney Ross: Anywhere warm with a beach! I just came back from Costa Rica and Bahamas this summer, and I love the islands. Plus I love skimpy clothes, so I’ve got to be somewhere hot, though not as hot as China. I just came back from there and the heat was insane.

GlamBlush: What are your favorite TV shows?
Chudney Ross: I’m addicted to TV. I love LOST and Grey’s Anatomy, but I also love Real World, Wife Swap, and Nanny 911.

GlamBlush: What’s on your iPod?
Chudney Ross: Anything I can dance to! My mom’s music of course, Britney Spears, anything cheesy, pop music, oldies, and Motown.

GlamBlush: Are you a pet person?
Chudney Ross: Yes! I have a dog named Peanut! He has an agent, but he doesn’t like being in front of the camera very much, so we haven’t been getting much work.

GlamBlush: Lastly, what’s next for you in your career?
Chudney Ross: Well I’m always writing, so I try to not be in front of my computer all the time. I’m trying to get an agent because I’d like to get into TV hosting; a fashion program would be great. I’d just like to be able to mix all of my loves together (TV, Fashion, Writing!)

I must admit, I didn’t know much about Rachel Smith, a.k.a. Miss USA before today. All I really remember is the unfortunate slip she took in the Miss Universe pageant. Luckily I had a chance to briefly chat with the Clarksville, Tennessee native right before the Marc Bouwer show…

GlamBlush: Who are you favorite designers?
Rachel Smith: Marc Bouwer and Roberto Cavalli. I LOVE Cavalli! For shoes, I really like Guiseppe’s. You know, I’m really still learning more and more about fashion each day.

GlamBlush: What are your favorite makeup brands?
Rachel Smith: Definitely NARS and Laura Mercier.

GlamBlush: What’s next for you in your career?
Rachel Smith: I also just finished my first modeling campaign for YMI Jeans… I’ve really had an amazing year. I’d really love to pursue Journalism, since that’s what my degree is in.

GlamBlush: Really? What’s your favorite magazine?
Rachel Smith: O Magazine. Actually, I really like just picking up a good book.

GlamBlush: Lastly, you’ve traveled the globe for your position as Miss USA. Where’s your favorite place that you visited?
Rachel Smith: Ooh – I love everywhere I’ve been! But if I had to choose, I’d say Spain.

The Designer: Nicholai by Nicky Hilton

The Look: Flawless Glamour

Makeup by Kabuki for MAC. Says Kabuki, “It’s all about the skin really. It’s sophisticated, but not very fashionable. We’re just using concealer to to cover any discoloration, so skin isn’t powdery at all. It looks like baby skin, very healthy.” I like how he spiced up each model’s look with silver wing-tipped eyeliner. That made the look especially youthful and fresh.

Hair by Odile Gilbert. Says lead stylist Odile Gilbert, “There are two looks. Either the hair will be straight or they’ll be an Amy Winehouse beehive.” Either Nicky Hilton couldn’t decide between the two looks, or her collection was designed for two types of women, or a woman with an alter ego… My opinion? I loved the contrast of the two styles: one carefree, the other meticulously styled. I love them both. (Wait, does that mean I have an alter ego?)

Nails by Zen Spa. Nails were thoroughly cleaned, buffed, and painted glossy clear.

The Designer: Tuleh

The Look: 50s Vintage GLAMonista

The Makeup. A shiny bronzy cheek and a glassy nude pout paired with spiky lashes and pearl-color illuminated eyes. GlamBlush translation: Naturally sexy.

The Hair. I must admit – I couldn’t stop thinking about View From the Top (the Gwyneth Paltrow movie). The hair was so… ‘flight attendant’ big. Teased high and feathered in the front with soft curls barreling down the back, I think the hair overpowered some of the clothes.

The Nails. Lovely Lavender. I think I’ve found a new favorite nail hue.

The Look: Beautiful Ballerina (Without the Chignon)

The Makeup. Peter Som always always always gives a great lip. Remember last season’s blood red lip? This time around he went to the other side of the color wheel with a soft matte pink lip, and played up the eyes with spidery lashes.

The Hair. There goes that tousled bedhead hair again! I’m beginning to think this look is shaping up to be the number one trend of the season… What do you think GLAMonistas?

The Look: An Exotic Island Girl

Makeup by Ayako for NARS. Judging from the look of this model, SEVERAL long days spent on the beach or an entire bottle of liquid bronzer is needed to achieve this look. Dewy olive skin, burnished cheeks, fleshy peachy lips, and eyes lined in a cerulean blue make me sad that spring’s over six months away…

Hair by Frédéric Fekkai. A sleek, slicked back wet ponytail, created by the Fekkai, the hair master himself, and a few dabs of his Coiff Magnifique Ultra-Light Finishing Creme.

The Look: Easy Does It

The Makeup. An almost completely clean face with soft smoldering eyes, full brows, and a nude lip. Clearly the bare essentials are all you need to look as gorgeous as the above model does.

The Hair. A casually pulled-back pony with a few wispy strands framing the face. Note to self: Must wear ponytails all next season!

The Look: Tiki Punch

The Makeup: Seeing the models wear orange eyeshadow with pink lipstick reminds me that makeup is supposed to be fun! With sunset eyes (meaning gold, orange, then yellow eyeshadow) and rose/fuchsia lips, it looks like a breath of colorful air is being breathed into spring beauty. And to think, I was wondering if anyone would give us a true summery makeup look.

The Hair. Neat low ponytails or a straight slicked-back look. Doesn’t get any simpler than that, which is great – this look is totally easy to emulate!

The Designer: Reem Acra

The Look: Playfully Chic & Sexy

Makeup by Christan McCullouch for MAC. A pretty cotton candy color pout finally found its way onto the catwalk (I was wondering when we’d see it – it’s one of my favorite springtime looks!). As for the face, the brows were full and the cheeks were burnished, not blushed, and the eye area had a dewy gloss.

Hair by Gavin Harwin. The bedhead look must be really in for spring! As seen before, models went down the catwalk with stringy center-parted tresses. The clothes were so crisp and clean-cut, you’d think the contrast would be a bit too much, but no! From head-to-toe, the models looked incredibly fabulous.

Nails by CND (Creative Nail Design). Clean and nude. The colors in the designer’s collection were so vibrant and bright that a colored nail may have taken away from the look.
