New York, New York. Oh How I Miss Thee!!!

I’m beat. Over the course of the past 24 hours, I’ve had stops in three different countries while trying to get back to good old NYC. From France to Germany, back to France and then on to England, quite frankly, I look like hell. My ponytail is lopsided, my blush has faded, my mascara has worn off, I’ve got two new pimples, my skin looks dull, and worst of all, I have bags under my eyes – which I never ever, ever, ever, ever never get. Much to my horror, on the 4th flight of the day, the guy sitting next to me asked what I did for a living. I was oh-so-ashamed to tell him that I’m a beauty editor!

Yes, I look that bad.

Sure, I could pull out my makeup kit from my purse, but what for? The baggage thine eyes carry trump any makeup tricks I could use right now anyway. I’m dreaming of the moment when I walk into my apartment and head straight for my personal beauty stash (ok, ok closet). I’m not playing around in my products today – I know exactly what I want.
