A Few Things You Should Know About RejuvaWand

If you’re struggling with a persistent skin dilemma, such as wrinkles, or even skin tone & texture, RejuvaWand just may be your mini savior.
topbar.gif
* When used daily in four-minute intervals, RejuvaWand skin regeneration system promises to eliminate wrinkles and fine lines, especially in the eye area, in 30 days or less.

*RejuvaWand uses red and infrared lights combined with a RejuvaVibe massage to energize the skin and activate the skin’s restorative properties by encouraging growth in collagen cells and boosting ellastin resulting in younger looking skin without wrinkles. The RejvaVibe is also supposed to increase blood circulation which will help to carry away dead skin cells.

*Clinical research shows that 95% of the test subjects showed an improvement in skin texture and 2/3 showed a significant decrease in aged skin after 30 days. See for yourself–the website, www.rejuvawand.com, offers before and after pictures of a few trial patients.

*It’ll only set you back $200. It’s cheaper than surgery, less toxic than botox and definitely less painful than microdermabrasion.

All in all, I say it’s worth a shot!

Rihanna’s Got a Bit of Blonde Ambition?

Maybe she’s over the celebrity bob craze happening this year, and is trying to set herself apart? Whatever the reason, yesterday Rihanna turned up at the BAMBI Awards in Dusseldorf, Germany with platinum blonde and fiery red streaks throughout the front of her jet black hair.

Rihanna

Thoughts GLAMonistas?

My two cents? Eh. Her hair has definitely seen better days. Kudos for trying something different though!

Katie Holmes’s Bang + Bob - Wig or Not? You Decide.

Earlier this evening at the BAMBI Awards in Dusseldorf, Germany, Katie Holmes debuted an updated version of her already hot bob. (Boy this girl has really started to embrace stylish change!)

Katie Holmes Bob

Thoughts GLAMonistas? Is her new flapper look fab?

My two cents? The bangs are a bit heavy for her delicate features, plus they’re covering up way too much of her face. I think she looks better when her face is opened up. Also, I think it’s a wig! It’s a bit too fluffy at the top, and there’s not a bit of scalp showing.

And boy oh boy will the ‘Posh copycat’ comments quadruple now!

If I Had to Guess… What Kind of Makeup is Dita Von Teese Wearing?

For fans of gothic glamour, Burlesque performer Dita Von Teese is their physical pinnacle. With a natural 22-inch waist (that is 16.5 inches when laced into a corset!) and a vampy retro style, Dita Von Teese is truly in a beauty league of her own.

Here’s what we know about Dita Von Teese and her makeup mantra:

~ Porcelain skin. It’s almost as if she’s afraid of the sun! There’s never ever (ever, ever, ever, ever) a hint of color on her…
~ …Other than her blood red lips. Never completely matte or completely shiny, Dita Von Teese’s lips are always a perfect hue of satiny candy apple meets cherry meets scarlet.
~ Heavily lined eyelids and spiky lashes. Her eyes always seem to have that sleepy-sexy look, and it’s because she piles the makeup on the upper lid, and leaves everything beneath alone. (Oops – did I just give up her secret?)
~ A hint, just a hint, of blush. You have to look really closely to see it, but a trained eye like mine can spot a faint flush a mile away.

Dita Von Teese

If I had to guess what kind of makeup this pinup uses to get pretty, I’d say:

Dior Skin Forever Compact Flawless & Moist Extreme Wear Makeup SPF25, $42
MAC Stylistics Lipstick in Stylistic, $22 or Viva Glam Lipstick in Viva Glam, $14
Bourjois Liner Clubbing in 81 Absolute Black, $16 and Imju Fiberwig Mascara, $22
Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals Glimmer blush in Bikini or Take Me, $13

Someone Else Has Made the Cut…

Hollywood has truly gone snip happy this season. (What is it with the bob haircut this year?) Add Anne Hathaway to the long list of celebs who’ve decided to chop it all off!

Anne Hathaway Bob Haircut

Instead of an angular cut like Rihanna’s and Victoria Beckham’s, or perfect & precise like Katie Holmes’s, Anne Hathaway’s cut is a bit choppy, and decidedly undone. And you know what? I actually like it!

While her off-center part is a little jagged, and a few pieces look a little longer than the next, I can see what look she was going for when she opted for this cutesy cropped coif. I’ll call this look “shaggy chic.”

Anne Hathaway, you’ve been officially inducted into GlamBlush’s Haute Bob Club. Wear it well.

Apparently Celebrities Have Insecurities Too…

According to FemaleFirst, supermogul Tyra Banks may be sleeping alone every night for an interesting reason - she doesn’t want her male suitors to see her without her hair extensions!

1565746f171136c21c.jpg

A source tells Female First: “Tyra is a confident woman for the most part, but she is really insecure about her hair. She doesn’t want any guy to see her without her wigs or hair extensions… Tyra feels like guys are with her for her image that they see on TV and in magazines. If one wakes up without her glamorous hair, she’s worried he may not call back!”

Tyra my dear, take it from me. You are basically flawless! Here’s a tip - skip the lacefront wigs. Get yourself a weave and sew it in extra tight - he’ll never know the difference! ;)

If I Had to Guess… What Kind of Makeup Is Kim Kardashian Wearing?

I get tons of emails asking what type of makeup Kim Kardashian wears. When I chit-chatted with her this past September backstage at the Heatherette show during NY fashion week (click HERE to read the interview), Kardashian professed to being a fan of anything MAC and Turkish Delight lip gloss by Nars.

But that doesn’t really answer the question at hand, does it? I’ll do my best to help all of you Kim Kardashian fans out. Here’s what we do know about Kim Kardashian’s makeup mantra:

~ She’s a glamazon. Every time I see a picture of her, she looks FAB-U-LOUS.
~ She LOVES shimmery eye makeup. Kim does rock the smoky eye look, but it’s softer and much more sultry. Plus, she’s rarely seen not wearing eyeliner.
~ She’s a lash addict. The longer, the better. For the top and the bottom.
~ She’s all about illuminated pretty, pearly pink cheeks.
~ She loves a glossy nude lip. ‘Nuff said.

Kim Kardashian Makeup

If I had to guess what type of makeup Kim Kardashian is wearing here, I’d say:

MAC Metal-X Cream Eyeshadow in Cyber
Shu Uemura False Eyelashes
Sephora Brand Blush Me! Mono in Framboise Attraction 3
Nars Lip Gloss in Turkish Delight or Chihuahua, $23

There GLAMonistas - go and get Kim Kardashian’s look!
