Whenever I go traipsing through Europe, I always come back with a couple of beauty finds I doubt I’d have been able to find stateside.


Case in point. Every morning when I apply my mascara, I have a little time-saving (but just as efficient) technique that I’m going to share with you GlamBlush fans: I simply close each eye and slowly brush the mascara wand down my upper lashes. Make sense? The wand catches my lower lashes as well, catching the paint residue that didn’t apply to the upper set. See, when you apply to the top and bottom lashes separately, you end up getting an even amount of paint on both sets of lashes, and that’s how you can end up with the dreaded ‘raccoon-eyes at the end of the day.


Not anymore. I found my newest obsession when I fell into the Belgian version of Sephora, Planet Parfum, and saw this: Urban Retreat Top and Bottom Mascara. This double wand must-have makes attaining the doe-eye look so much easier. One wand is thick, so your top lashes get really fat and long; the other is thin, so your lower lashes get a tad bit darker and more defined.
