Fake Flat Irons? Who Knew!

Interesting… After a nearly year long investigation conducted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Quebec City, Canada, roughly 4,500 counterfeit CHI® brand hairstyling irons have been seized.

Weird, huh? Apparently someone had been selling the faux CHI® flat irons over the internet (Editor’s Note: exact website wasn’t named, though I can just about guess…), and when the styler failed to meet its buyers needs, they rightfully complained to Farouk Systems (parent company of CHI®), which ultimately raised a red flag to the powers that be.

At this point, no arrests have been made, but the investigation continues.

(QQ: If they’ve seized the bad beauty booty, how could they not have arrested anyone? Oh, I love scandal. Only time will tell.)
