It seems as if the beauty industry is becoming more decadent by the second. I remember when a tub of Crème de la Mer was was as good as it gets (in my world!), now these procedures make those prestige brands look a bit bargain basement.
~If you’re in the market for a facial that’s a bit more fabulous then what’s generally offered, drop by La Prairie at the Ritz Carlton in New York for a 90-minute facial infused with 24-carat gold. The Pure Gold Radiance Facial and Caviar Firming Facial will set you back about $275.
~Want to to bling out your skin? For a full fledged gold-on-your-face-facial, stop by Veroncia’s Skin and Beauty in Malibu or Tokyo for a 90-minute session. It’ll run you roughly $400.
~The Victor Hotel in Miami probably offers the luxe-est bath any of us could ever dream of taking.

To lounge in 1000 liters of floating candles, daisies, and Evian mineral water, expect to pony up a cool $5,000. Clearly Serena Williams can afford it, but hey - try it at home! (I think I actually mgiht!)

That Ritz Carlton facial sounds so amazing! I’ve had other ones there but I think I might just have to splurge on the Pure Gold one. How decadent!
