As we all know, we have seen everyone literally get a reality TV show! From America’s Next Top Model to Shear Genius, the only thing we are lacking is a show based on becoming the next great makeup artist. But alas, someone has read our minds, and (drum roll please) Lifetime and Max Factor present, Blush: The Search for the Next Great Makeup Artist. In this reality show, aspiring makeup artists will battle it out for a contract to become a makeup artist for Max Factor, a $100,000 cash prize, and the chance to be the makeup artist for an upcoming InStyle photo shoot.

Hosted by actress Vanessa Marcil, Blush’s (we LOVE the name!) mentor will be world-renowned makeup artist Charlie Green who has worked with models Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, and Elizabeth Hurley to name a few. The two judges are Hal Rubinstein, Fashion Director of InStyle, and celebrity makeup artist Joanna Schlip, whose clients include Eva Longoria, Scarlett Johansson, and Jessica Simpson.

This show is something to talk about, as it is the first in its category. It begins tonight and we’ll be watching so stay tuned…
