Sarah Says: How to Style a High Bun

Buns are a great way to draw attention to the face, neck, decolletage. They are sophisticated for work and sexy enough for après work cocktail hour.

“This is an easy chic look. The key is to keep the bang smooth and the bun messy for a textured look.

Apply Aussie’s Opposites Attract Styling Mousse to partially dry hair at the root. Loosely blow dry upward to create texture.

Use a large 2″ iron, set hair in large rollers (this step can be skipped for quicker style).

Form a middle part. Leave front layers down or loosely pull the rest of the hair up into a high ponytail. Follow the chin line for the most flattering look. Twist hair and secure into a loose bun. Pull ponytail and loosen hairs on top to add volume.

To create a sweeping bang, pull hair around the face and secure with a small bobby pin.”
