Says Rita Hazan: “If you are going to change your cut drastically, you should cut first because the cut will inspire a new color or different placement. But if you’re going to just get a trim or a cut, it’s better to color first, then cut if your doing it at the same salon. This way you don’t have to wash so many times.”
