I officially have a girl crush on Heidi Klum. Amidst the Fashion Week craziness, I had the chance to catch up with the supermodel/business woman/TV host/mom to chat about her new Victoria’s Secret Makeup Spring Look Kit. She was as delightful and bubbly as she is on TV, not to mention insanely, stunningly, gorgeous.

Heidi’s makeup artist Linda Hay was also on-hand to explain the inspiration behind the kit. “We’re always getting Heidi ready for the red-carpet, and it’s always a big rush at the end to put together a little kit for her so that she can do touch-ups. With spring coming it’s the perfect opportunity to create a kit of essentials,” says Hay. And yes, these are the exact products Heidi will be carrying in her purse when she attends the Oscars on Sunday.

The kit is packed with a highlighter/blush duo, an eye shadow quad, mascara, and lip gloss. Heidi’s favorite part is the step-by step how-to guide, “I like that it tells you what goes where and how to do it, because I see women all the time that don’t know where to put their makeup. There are tricks that make you look good and this tells you how to do them.”

In other news, Heidi’s legs were quite possibly 2 miles long. And when she told me that my eye makeup looked good and I almost fell over.
