Leave it to Alexander Wang to jazz up combat boots with tassels, pebbled leather, double gold buckles, long laces, and a severe pointed toe… if these were mandatory for the military, I don’t doubt more girls would sign up!

2. Demeter Fragrance Library Vintage Naturals Rosebush, $39
There are so many rose perfumes that smell like anything but the fragrant flower, however this limited edition scent hits the nail right on the head. An intoxicating blend of chamomile rose absolute and rose petals, dabbing on a few drops each morning mentally transports me to The Rose Valley in Bulgaria. (I so want to visit there!)

3. TopShop Sequin Biker Jacket, $190
The traditional leather biker jacket gets a girlish facelift with scores of sequins; can’t you just imagine yourself in this paired with black skinny jeans and thigh-high boots. Talk about good girl gone glam!

4. Tory Burch Nico Satchel, $635
Once I leave my house in the morning, I’m usually gone all day long, meaning I have to haul all of my essentials around with me—a couple of magazines, a kindle, two iPhones, a BlackBerry, a pair of ballet flats, a few KIND Fruit + Nut bars,  and oh-so-much more. This shearling bag is the perfect understated carryall for all of my must-haves.

5. Bebe Satin Bow Clip, $39
I haven’t worn a big bow in my hair since I was about 5, but I’m suddenly enticed to rock the girlish accessory again because of this oversize hair clip. It’s big enough to be seen, but not as big as Minnie Mouse’s. (Thank goodness!)

6. Farr West Full Slip No. 579, $80
I’m a big believer in beautiful undergarments—I think every woman should wear lovely lingerie every single day. Imagine how much better you’d feel in a simple cotton tank dress if you were wearing this slinky lace-trimmed number underneath?

7. Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey Bath Oil, $60
Winding down with a glass of red wine and a good book in a steaming hot bath is a wish of mine that I rarely get to execute. But next time I get around to it, I fully intend to simmer for a few hours in this delectably scented moisturizing oil. Can. Not. Wait.

8. Priti Nail Poilsh in Black Eyed Susan, $12.50
Yup, it’s official. I’m back on black. This shiny onyx hue is completely opaque from the first coat, and lasts for at least seven full days before I see the first chip. Since I get weekly manicures, this works perfect for me!
