BB creams are one of the biggest skin sensations in Asia that have finally arrived on our shores. Too Faced’s new Tinted Beauty Balm is a multi-benefit skin care makeup that is formulated with an oil-free, anti-aging, multi-mineral complex with SPF 20 that fortifies skin’s elasticity. It comes in four shades and is also infused with light diffusing pigments to leave you looking radiant whether worn alone or under makeup.

We got a chance to test drive the BB cream against our normal routine and were delightfully surprised at the results. After first applying makeup directly to the skin, regardless of any powder used to sop up oil, half of it had wiped off by middle of the day. While many primers are formulated to minimize pores and hold onto foundation, they usually come in one universal shade with zero sun protection and can be a bit goopy. Our makeup held out for much longer and hid our pores, but we relied on other products for coverage and a dose of SPF. We were amazed at how the beauty balm’s thinner formula blended seamlessly into our skin while providing a good amount of coverage over blemishes. Even under the rest of our makeup, we had a luminous glow that wasn’t related to our oily skin and stayed on the whole day!
