Fix Up Your Feet For Summer!

Nothing goes better with a pair of summery sandals than a pair of perfectly pedicured feet.  In anticipation of wearing your favorite strappy shoes and bright, pigmented polishes, it’s time to get those feet in mint condition. Try out some of these simple tips to get rid of callouses and cracked heels with any of these products and prep your tootsies for some fun-in-the-sun.

Start by soaking your feet in a pedicure bath of a soothing  foot soak with warm water long enough for the skin to soften. Then buff away layers of dead skin with a pumice stone. If necessary, carefully shave away calluses and rough spots with properly sanitized pedicure tools. Then work on repairing dry skin by slathering on a heavy cream. Let your tootsies deeply moisturize overnight by applying a softening foot cream and slip on socks to allow it to settle into the skin. Target cracked heels with a strong reparative ointment. Push back your cuticles using a cuticle softener – olive oil works, too!  Apply a polish of your choice for a clean, professional look. Continue to moisturize daily and exfoliate often to keep skin and heels from drying out. And if you’re going to be outside a lot, don’t forget to put sunscreen on your feet!

  • Oh, wow! Now that you mentioned it, I wish I could have the time to have a foot spa. But I think I won't be needing to go to the spa anymore if I have these with me at home. I see there's a peppermint flavor to one of them. Will there be any reactions to one of the products here if I use them together?
