By Bianca Posterli October 11,2012
When Friends was on the air, hundreds of girls rushed to their hair salons, asking for “The Rachel,” and through the years, Jennifer Aniston‘s locks have remained in extremely high and beautiful demand.
Now, after multiple offers and multiple noteworthy, enviable cuts, the recently engaged actress is bringing her tresses to the business side of the industry, as the the new co-owner and hair care spokesperson of Living Proof! In her new role, Aniston will provide insight into what affects hair trends while working directly with stylists on innovative new products.
“What caught my attention about Living Proof is the company’s unique approach to hair care — using scientific technologies to offer women actual proof in a bottle rather than hoping for results,” said Aniston. “Over the years, my hair has been subjected to everything…blow dryers, flatirons, curling irons, color, extensions, you name it. My hair has taken a serious beating. After using these products, I felt like I finally discovered a solution that works every day. I could not be more excited to share Living Proof with the world.”
One of the ultimate tresse trend influencers, affecting hair decisions at the highest level? Talk about the preeminent perfect culmination of beauty and brains.
Update: Aniston isn’t the only one heading over to Living Proof as her celebrity hair stylist, Chris McMillan (the man behind the legendary “Rachel” cut), has also become a Celebrity Hair Stylist for the brand. But it wasn’t Aniston’s influence that convinced him to become part of Living Proof, it was the efficacy of the products. “It worked; it’s simple – period, and it’s not complicated,” he told Women’s Wear Daily. We forsee a slew of new innovative styles and products in the works!
