Chanel made a splash with the premiere of the first ad for N°5 with Brad Pitt, which had its share of mixed reviews. This time around, Pitt’s monologue mingles with scenes of model Sigrid Agren taking in the view from a luxurious downtown penthouse; walking on water against a mountainous backdrop; and applying the fragrance before watching the sunrise in a gilded elevator. Many sources indicate that Agren’s vignettes may be the work of Steven Klein who had originally signed on for just the print portion of the campaign. With an evolving look and feel, we’ll just have to stay tuned to see what Chanel has up its sleeve for part three.
