Bring the Best of Drybar Home
By Valis Vicenty December 20,2012
Who doesn’t love a good blowout? Drybar has specialized the in coveted coif for years, but now the beloved blow dry bar is letting beauty buffs take a piece of them home with products that play on the “bar” atmosphere. The Hot Toddy heat protector and frizz fighter, Cream Soda smoothing cream, The Chaser shine pomade, Detox oil-absorbing dry shampoo, Happy Hour Shampoo and Conditioner, and more were all crafted with the help of Drybar’s stylists set on perfecting the blowout and are infused with ingredients like Brazilian ginseng, artichoke leaf extract, Kalahari melon seed oil and multivitamins. As for the tools themselves, Landaexpect to see their signature shade of yellow on their Buttercup blow dryer, 3-day Bender curling iron (with a rotating barrel), Smooth Operator straightening iron, the Lemon Drop flat detangling brush for wet and dry hair, Half Pint and Full Pint round ceramic barrel brushes, Hold Me hair clips, and even The Morning After shower cap. “We wanted the line to be whimsical, but we wanted it also to be authentic and real,” said co-found Michael Landau to Women’s Wear Daily. “It’s a balance of fun but serious.” We have a feelings there’s going to a few at-home Drybar parties in our future!
Available March 2013 exclusively at Drybar locations nationwide and Sephora.com with products for $25-$35.
