When we recently spotted the campaign for MAC’s new Strength collection, we immediately looked to our own lack of muscle. The new campaign asked beauty buffs to flex their femininity in the form of Serbian figure competitor and personal trainer Jelena Abbou. In it, the model strikes a pose dressed in a black vinyl ball gown and a matching cat eye and deep red matte pout, proving that beauty and femininity aren’t defined by stereotypes. The collection itself features pumped up pigments in shadows, mascaras, liners and lipsticks for dramatic eye and lip looks plus a powdered for a face contoured to perfection and all natural-looking nails. With names like “Absolute Power,” “Muscle Tone,” and more, don’t be surprised if you find yourself flexing a fierce eye in the mirror!
