Backstage Beauty Beat: Rag & Bone
By Valis Vicenty February 09,2013
THE SHOW: Rag & Bone THE HAIR: Guido Palau created textured buns, starting with Redken’s Guts 10 Volume Spray at the roots for lift and the Powder Refresh 01 for texture and then created a low deep side part before sweeping the bigger section across the forehead for a boyish look. He pulled the hair into the bun but left pieces out where he used Quick Tease 15 to hold them in place and seal the style. THE MAKEUP: Gucci Westman blended the girly girl and the tomboy that time traveled to the ’60s. She created a Edie Sedgwick inspired eyelook above the crease with Revlon’s ColorStay Créme Gel Liner in Black with a few coats of 3D Volume Macsara and filled in the eyebrows. She kept the skin clean and fresh with the brand’s Nearly Naked Makeup and Powder, adding a flush with the Baby Sticks for Lips & Cheeks in Pink Passion. For the pout, she lined the lips with the ColorStay Lipliner in Mauve and finished with the ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in Supermodel. THE MANI: Jin Soon Choi created a nuetral manicure with a few coats of Revlon’s Nail Enamel in Elegant.
