The Show: Zac Posen

The Hair: Luigi Murenu created a wispy chignon to add a lighter air to the wardrobe. He began by working in John Frieda’s Luxurious Volume Volumizing Mousse from roots to ends to thicken the tresses before a rough blowdry. Next, he used a small crimper on the on the top and sides of the hair for added texture. He then pulled the hair into a gentle ponytail before twisting it into the chignon, leaving the ends and a few wisps of hair on the sides free. He crimped the free ends to create the look of soft mohair an sealed the atyle with a few spritzes of the Luxurious Volume All-Day Hold Hair Spray.

The Makeup: Kabuki gave Posen’s inspiration a twist. Inspired by Tilda Swinton and falling snow, her used vanilla cream shadows that were close to the models’ skin tones to add an ethereal hollowness to the eyes with a touch of MAC’s Gesso eye shadow the thinnest line of RapidBlack Penultimate Eyeliner to define the lashes. The brand’s 33 lashes were applied with a few swipes of Haute & Naughty Too mascara. For the lips, kabuki lined the lips using the Vino Lip Pencil and filled it in with MAC’s Pro Burgundy Lipmix for a velvety finish.

Tha Mani: To match the deep lip , the models had their tips touched up with two coats of Essie’s Carry On polish.
