Get the Look: Halle Berry’s Bond Girl Makeup at the Oscars

Halle Berry brought out her former Bond girl for the Academy Awards tribute to the franchise’s 50-year anniversary. Berry slayed in a killer custom Versace gown and a smoldering look created with help from Chanel celebrity makeup artist, Kara Yoshimoto Bua. “I kept Halle ‘s look pretty casual and tonal, yet still glamorous, to complement the striking look of the dress,” she explained. I focused on the eyes and added some shimmer for dimension.”

For the sexy eye look, Bua started by priming the eye lids with Revlon’s Photoready Eye Primer + Brightener before she used the PhotoReady Primer + Shadow in Graffiti on the lid and in Metropolitan under the eye. She defined her top lashes with the ColorStay Eyeliner in Black and the bottom with Chanel’s Long-Lasting Eyeliner. She added a dose of boldness to the brows with the Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil in Brun Naturel before swiping on a few coats of Le Volume de Chanel in 10 Noir on the lashes. Berry’s glow started with the Sublimage La Crème Texture Supreme before applying Revlon’s PhotoReady Pefecting Primer for a long-lasting look. Bua them applied the ColorStay Whipped Crème Mousse Makeup in Caramel and added a natural flush with Chanel’s Powder Blush in 76 Frivole and an extra glowing touch with Sonia Kashuk’s Chic Luminosity Highlighter Stick in Sparkling Sands. For Berry’s lip look to last all night, Mitchell lined her lips with Chanel Precision Lip Definer in 35 Praline D’or and layered the Rouge Coco Baume and the Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in Private Viewing.
