“A Blondie To Go” in Just 10 Minutes!

Clairol

It was time to update my hair color. It had been awhile, probably a little too long, actually I know it had been too long. But you know, the whole time and money thing, before I knew it, it had been a few months.

The Question - What’s DIY-easy, doesn’t take a lot of time and leave a hole in your wallet and works great?!?

The Answer - Clairol Nice n’ Easy Perfect 10 Permanent Color

My choice“A Blondie To Go” - Lightest Blonde (there’s 20 different shades to choose from!)

The (Horrendous) Before

Hair

During – The applicator with the comb was so easy to use and got down to the roots and all in the hair. The dye itself smelled really great, with just a touch of a bleach smell, but it was fresh and in no time, my tiny NYC apartment actually smelled like a salon. After just around 10 minutes with the dye in my hair, (it took less than 5 minutes to actually apply the dye!) I rinsed and used the conditioning creme, (which by the way, also smells so so good!) dried, straightened and wa-lah!

Hair

The After – Loves it! I would definitely give this product an A+. My hair is now such a great color, so soft and shiny, it was just what my hair needed. The next day, everyone was asking me where I got my hair done and how great it looked! I will be using this product again and again, and this time, not waiting quite so long : )

Women. Hair Color. Thoughts.

Clairol released a bit of interesting information about American women and their thoughts on hair color, and I thought I’d share with you GLAMonistas…

Hilary Duff

THE COLOR OF POLITICS:

Tight race: When asked to predict what hair color they believed the first female president would have, survey respondents split their vote between brunette and blonde (in 2007). Interestingly, when Clairol asked the same question in a 2002 and 2004 survey, the majority of women believed the first female president would be a brunette.

A COLORFUL JOB HUNT:

Looking for that “in” for your next interview? Seventy-six percent of women believe brunette is the best hair color for making a good impression on an interview. Blonde came in second (12 percent) and red last (three percent).

CEOs prefer…Brunettes! Sixty-seven percent of women said if they were a CEO and could hire only one person based on their hair color, they would hire a brunette. Thirteen percent of women chose redheads and eight percent chose blondes.

THE BEAUTIFUL BLONDE:

Sex appealFlirty blonde icons clearly still hold influence, as more than half of women polled said blonde is the hair color men find sexiest on a woman. Half of women surveyed also chose blonde as the most seductive hair color.

Blondes still have more fun…More than half of women surveyed reported that they believe blonde is the most fun-loving hair color.

THE BRILLIANT BRUNETTE:

Seriously speaking…More than three quarters of women surveyed said they associate brunettes with being the most serious. Fifty-six percent also reported that brunette signals the most confidence.

Trust me, I’m a doctor…Seventy-seven percent of respondents said that a brunette doctor would appear the most trustworthy to them. Seventy-two percent of women find brunette to also be the most trustworthy hair color in general.

LADIES IN RED:

They mean business…Redheads were voted most intimidating by half of respondents.

If only for a day…The majority of women surveyed said that if they could change their hair color for a day, they would choose to go red.

Thoughts? Speak on it.
