If you aren’t yet acquainted with Nicole Austin, a.k.a. Coco, a.k.a. Ice-T’s gorgeous wife-slash-omnipresent-sidekick, apparently you’ve been living under a rock… I caught up with this boobylicious, bootylicious babe on the set of one of her MANY infamous magazine cover shoots (this one was shot by avant-garde photographer Ashley Walker), where she shared privileged information about her personal style & beauty choices, her REAL hair color, and her favorite getaway destination with her main man, Ice-T. 

What are three words to describe your personal style?
Flashy. Trendy. Outrageous.

What do you wear on a regular day?
I like to be stylish at all time because you do have to be ready for the camera at all times.  I don’t want to be the type to be in the sweatsuits, so I get up and I try to put funky outfits together that nobody has seen.  I’ll put on cute little jeans with a matching shirt.  I’m really into matching colors together. No sweats, no jeans and a tank top for me.  I’m all about fashion every single day even if I have to go into the set [of Ice-T’s TV show, Law and Order: SVU]. If I’m working all day [on a photo shoot] and no one sees me I see myself. I see myself and I feel good in it. Even if no one sees me I know I’m looking good that day.

Name three items in your closet that you would NEVER want to get rid of.
-My high heels. I’m a shoe freak. I would have to die if someone took my shoes away from me. 
-I love my spandex pants, no matter what anyone says…80’s or whatever. I love my spandex pants. 
-And my fur purses.

Wow – fur purses?
Yeah! I find really cool fur purses from around the world. That’s the one thing cool about my closet because I travel so much my whole closet is international.

What is your favorite fragrance?
If you open up my cabinet there are like 20 different bottles, I don’t have a favorite.  But I really like Michael Kors.

What products do you NEVER leave home without?
Mascara and Lip gloss. Those are my favorite items.

Do you like to wear false lashes or are those your real lashes?
I have really long natural lashes and just enough mascara to plump them up and make them thicker. They put individual lashes on today. Probably three different ones in there. I don’t really like to wear false lashes.  They’ll put them on for me for shoots but to me they’re so heavy and they look fake, you know? Maybe if they make fake ones that look real. But I like my (natural) lashes.

What’s your favorite mascara?
L’Oreal. The cheap L’Oreal that people can get in the drug stores. It’s the best.

What’s your favorite lip gloss?
M.A.C. for me. M.A.C. lip gloss. They used to have a lip gloss called “Lip Taste” but they don’t make it anymore! So I went to eBay and bought like ten of them. 

What’s your favorite look for your hair?
Its funny, I’m changing.  When I was younger I liked curls, I liked body. But now that I’m getting older I like it completely bone-straight. 

Are you a natural blonde?
Nope. I’m a brunette. I was born a dark, dark brunette. And when you have a lot of hair it looks darker than it really is.  Both my mom and my sister are blondes I grew up around blondes so I kinda wanted to be that.

What’s your favorite shampoo and conditioner?
L’Oreal, once again. It’s called L’Oreal professional the salon version. I love it. You put that conditioner in your hair (and) you can just slide the brush through your hair and there are no knots. I love that stuff. I’m a pretty plain person, that’s one thing about me.  I Just mascara and lip gloss on my face and L’Oreal in my hair.  And that’s about it.  I don’t use any other products on myself. 

Lastly, you’ve traveled all over the world with Ice-T. Where is your favorite place to vacation?
Bahamas. Paradise Island where the Atlantis is but our favorite is the sister resort to Atlantis called “Ocean Club”. That’s where we’ve gone a couple of times and it’s our favorite spot so far. We haven’t had a chance to really go check out anything else like Mexico or any other tropical place but so far Bahamas is pretty hot.

{Editor’s Note: At this moment Ice-T walked up and I asked him…} What is your favorite fragrance on her?
Ice-T: I couldn’t tell one fragrance from the next.
Coco: That’s what I said. I have like 20 bottles!
Ice-T: Honestly, I’m more into body spray than perfume.  You put on a nice fruity body spray and I’m happy as hell.  I’m more of [the type of] male that will say what I don’t like. So until she puts on something that I don’t like then I’ll just like it all.  But if she puts on something I’ll be like “I don’t like that, baby” so that’s how we go.  I couldn’t tell Chanel from Gucci. I don’t think very many men can name a female’s perfume.
