When I say everyone has an opinion about this cover, I mean EVERYONE.

Yes, Drew Barrymore looks a little photoshopped; clearly they’ve defined her jawline, thinned out her arms, minimized her facial features, but so what? Though she may not look like herself, she still looks fab. Imagine if YOU went on the cover of a magazine - wouldn’t you want to be touched up, even if it’s just a little?

Now that 2007 is officially over, let’s take a quick look back at some of the most magnificent manes that made headlines last year. BeautyRiot.com, one of my favorite celebrity beauty websites, has compiled a list of the top 20 hairstyles of last year:

My favorites are #1, #3, #5, #9, #14, #15, and #20. Nicole Richie’s look was so sleek. Jessica Simpson’s long bob was shoulder-sweepingly sexy. Jennifer Aniston’s curls are always flawless. I love Hilary Duff as a smoldering brunette. Rihanna’s jet black angled bob was simply glorious. Drew Barrymore’s poofy pinup worked perfectly with her face. And Jessica Biel looked so womanly with a head full of voluminous curls.

This just in!!!! Slated to join Rihanna, Queen Latifah, Christie Brinkley, Keri Russell, and Molly Sims is Drew Barrymore - she’s the newest celeb to sign on as the face of CoverGirl cosmetics. How exciting! After more than 20 years in Hollywood, this is her very first major beauty campaign!

“I am honored to be associated with a brand that has been at the forefront of its industry for almost fifty years,” Barrymore said. “CoverGirl has managed to change with the times, yet stay in touch with women of all ages and backgrounds. To be chosen not only as the newest face of CoverGirl, but to be given the opportunity to be a co-creative director of my first TV commercial is truly amazing.”
