Emma Watson is the New Face of Chanel Perfume

It feels like just yesterday I decided I finally liked Keira Knightley as Kate Moss’s replacement as the face of Chanel fragrance Coco Mademoiselle.

Now comes the news that Emma Watson, the 18-year-old Harry Potter actress just signed a two-year contract worth $6 million with Chanel to promote the scent, beginning in September.

Kate Moss is One Haute Momma…

… who knows the power of a good gift!

Kate Moss

While recently throwing a baby shower for a gal pal, model mommy Kate Moss treated guests to this utterly fabulous Mama Mio Supermama kit – fellow British mothers Sadie Frost (mother of Jude Law’s three kids) and Luella Bartley (hello, the designer!) were amongst the lucky recipients.

Since Mother’s Day is quickly approaching, why not treat all the “Supermamas” in your life to this cool kit? At a mere $99, the Mama Mio Supermama Kit serves as the perfect must-have skincare set for all hard-working mamas. It includes four luxe, lush treats; everything she needs to relax and recharge for another day helming the home.

Mama Mio Supermama Kit

Our Supermama Kit contains four Mama Mio treats: Moisturising Shower Cream for super-sensitive pampering; Body Buff gentle exfoliant to feel great in the buff; Super-rich Body Cream, a gorgeously fragrant mega-moisturiser and Wonder-Full Balm; from lips to dry skin, it can fix it!

BTW - the Mama Mio skincare collection IS NOT just for mothers! I have yet to travel down that path, and I’m in deep, deep LOVE with a few Mama Mio products. More details to come on that later. ;)

Rita Hazan: 10 Rules for Being a Blonde

Jessica Simpson Kate Moss

10. Have confidence! Blondes are always noticed more!

9. Maintain your color; you should never have roots.

8. Always have dimension and contrast; otherwise it looks too bleached and unnatural - like a bottled blonde.

7. To nourish your hair and keep it in top shape, you should do a conditioning treatment 1-2 times a week.

6. Make sure your makeup is subtle, like your hair color. A paler shade is more flattering than dark, harsh makeup.

5. If you find yourself highlighting your hair every 6 weeks, it’s time for a single process. Too much bleach is not good for the hair!

4. NO frosting! White highlights on dark hair is never good.

3. When highlighting hair, don’t use a cap! There’s better technology and tools out there today that produce much better results.

2. Use shampoo and conditioner for dry/damaged hair.

1. Get your hair trimmed frequently, every 4-6 weeks. Keeping your hair healthy is very important, especially with blondes because it takes a beating for all the bleach, flatirons and blowdrys!

French Vogue Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss

It’s French Vogue’s annual Bad Girl’s issue! Who’d be better cover girls than Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss?

P.S. Madame Carine Roitfeld, your magazine knocks my socks off. You are my favorite person on earth.

Guess Who’s Got a Brand New Gig?

It’s Kate Moss!

Kate Moss

As if she doesn’t have enough endorsement deals, Kate Moss is now the face/partner of James Brown Haircare (James Brown is her longtime friend/personal hairstylist). While she’s not particularly known for having fabulous hair (it’s a bit stringy and greasy for my taste),  I think this is a great venture for her. Unchartered territory at that - how many other supermodels have launched a haircare line. Normally they’ll just do makeup.

Anyway, here’s the commercial:

Candid Video of Irina Lazareanu

I love a girl that embraces her frankness. I caught one of Glam’s It Girls of the Month (and one of my favorite models) in a less-than-euphoric mood while she was getting her makeup done for the Diane von Furstenberg show. Not sure if I was getting on her nerves or not at the beginning, but towards the end she’d warmed up to me and my constant questions. I got her to talk about Pete Doherty and his current whereabouts, what she’d like to do with Kate Moss and Verschka (?!?), her hobbies and passions, and her favorite city on Earth. See for yourself:

Keira Knightley’s Chanel Ad

Out with the old, and in with the new. Bye bye Kate! (I’m SO sad to see you go.)
kate-moss-chanel.jpg
Keira Knightley has finally picked up where Kate Moss left off - her new Chanel fragrance adverts will be seen in September print issues, but here’s a sneak peek:
keira-chanel.jpg

Though I think this photo of Keira is gorgeous, very regal, and she’s working her trademark smoldering stare, I must admit, I’m a bit underwhelmed. Maybe I’m just a diehard Kate fan, but this advert doesn’t make me feel like I HAVE to buy this bottle of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. (Which is a TOTAL shame, because it actually smells quite lovely).

Then again, maybe it’s the fluffy bob I’m just not into.

Anyway, that’s just my opinion. What do you think? Does this ad ‘work’ for you?
