Remember when I wrote about Bumble & bumble’s Spray de Mode (The Most Fashionable Hairspray Ever) a few months back?

Today the website for Spray de Mode launched, and I must say - I’m excited to try fun, new styles with my can of Spray de Mode. (Lately, I’ve been interested in the Dita Von Teese pinup look - I’ll let you know how that goes.)

Spray de Mode styling spray is all about expressing your personal style… in celebration of that, for the product campaign we used all real people with cool, individual style to create characters that show different looks the product can create.

Check out these candid YouTube videos, aptly named the Spray de Mode Sessions, of each character before and after. Oh, BTW - all of these people were casted through Myspace!

It’s not often we get to see Matthew McConaughey looking so… suave. Come to think of it, I’m used to seeing him with a headband, a bare sweaty chest, dusty sneakers, running shorts, greasy hair, and a goofy grin. Talk about a complete 180; in his new commercial for Dolce & Gabbana’s The One fragrance, athletic Matthew McConaughey is nowhere to be seen, as he’s been replaced with his suit-and-tie counterpart, who is seen strolling back to his hotel whilst vintage jazz serves as his theme music. While we do get a glimpse of his swoon-worthy smile and omnipresent freshly-waxed chest, I couldn’t help but chuckle a few times. I’m not so sure I take him seriously - I kinda kept expecting him to break out with a joke or two…

Thoughts? Do you buy a completely made over Matthew McConaughey? Or would you rather have the fun-loving beach bum back?

Both Mariah Carey and Gwen Stefani debuted commercials for their fragrances late this year, and I noticed more than one similarity: 

*Both scents designers are pop singers.

*Both scents are named after initials - M for Mariah, L. for L.A.M.B.

*Both celebrities are sexily frolicking in the water in their commercials.

*Both scents are available on Sephora.com! 1.7 ounces of L. is $55, and 1.7 ounces of M is $52.50.

As usual, this morning I found myself perusing the visual happenings on YouTube, and I came across Kate Winslet in the Lancôme Trésor advert, as well as the Diesel Fuel for Life commercial.

Both are incredibly short (30 seconds or below), and both are oh-so-confusing! Kate’s just running across a bridge and hugging her beau, and the Diesel model is buttoning up her blazer in the elevator. I don’t get it. What’s the actual connection with the fragrances?

I think Charlize Theron is a Hollywood rarity. Even though she’s leggy and blonde like 70% of her fellow famous female thespians, this model cum actress is always oozing an effortless sexiness that most girls just can’t pull off, no matter how hard they try. (Regrettably, I’m one of them.)

To that end, I think Dior made the perfect choice when appointing Charlize Theron celebrity ambassador of their J’Adore fragrance. She’s been on board for the past 3 years, and she’s filmed two steamy commercials. You tell me - which one is sexier?

It isn’t often when I spy candid flicks or footage of Catherine Zeta-Jones; every now and then we see her on a red carpet with her husband, or in a magazine advertisement here or there… For the most part, CZJ stays out of the limelight. I guess it would make sense… she does live in Bermuda full-time when she isn’t filming or promoting a project. I guess that just isn’t a paparazzi-ridden place!

Anyway, today I found myself perusing my current visual obsession, YouTube, and I came across her fragrance commercial for Provocative Woman by Elizabeth Arden. Have you seen it?

She’s seriously giving every man fever - who else can turn men into puddles of water! Sauntering past men with seductive hair and a sly stare… I’d almost forgotten that Catherine Zeta-Jones is SO sexy!

As for the fragrance, buy it HERE; with bustling notes of water lotus, midnight orchid, and red amber, 3.3 ounces of this amazing EDP is a mere $52.50.
