<p style="text-align: center">Last night we headed backstage before <strong>Suno’s</strong> Fall 2012 show to get a peek at the makeup look set to hit the catwalk. <strong>MAC’s</strong> Carole Colorbani explained her inspiration for the look: ’90s girls.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">“She’s a party girl, like Kate Moss when she first started – that shiny, glossy effect of the eye,” she said.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">To get the retro look, she started with a fresh face by applying MAC’s <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/158/393/Face-And-Body-Foundation/index.tmpl" target="_blank">Face &amp; Body Foundation</a> with her hands and dotting a bit of <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/156/15668/Cremeblend-Blush/index.tmpl" target="_blank">Cremeblend Blush</a> onto the cheeks. For the eyes she swept a pressed pigment in Deeply Dashing all around the eye  and usuing the pigment to line underneath the eye before using MAC Pro Shine to add a glossy effect to the lids. She skipped the mascara and lipstick, opting to ensure the lips were moisturized.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">Overall, she wanted a rough, more masculine look for such a feminine collection. “All of the prints and everything were very pretty, and I didn’t want to come out with all this ‘pretty girl’ makeup,” she said. “I wanted to her to be a bit more tough, more strong.”</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blogs.glam.com/glamblush/files/2012/02/Suno2.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13688" src="http://blogs.glam.com/glamblush/files/2012/02/Suno2.jpg" alt="" width="640" height="362" /></a></p>

<p style="text-align: center"><strong>Nicole Miller</strong> channeled the spirit of the ’60s for her Fall 2012 collection, and thanks to <strong>MAC’s</strong> James Kaliardos and <strong>CND’s</strong> Wanda Ruiz, the makeup and nails easily followed suit.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">“Nicole was inspired by Jimi Hendrix, flower power, and trying to promote love,” Kaliardos explained.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">To get the look, he started with MAC’s <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/158/17339/Matchmaster-SPF-15-Foundation/index.tmpl" target="_blank">Matchmaster Foundation</a>. He then used <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/159/782/Mineralize-Skinfinish/index.tmpl" target="_blank">Mineralize Skin Finish</a> in Center of the Universe to create a C-shape from the temple to the hollow of the cheek and contouring the eye near the bridge of the nose and <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/156/1791/Mineralize-Blush/index.tmpl" target="_blank">Mineralize Blush</a> in Supernova on the apple of the cheek. “These great products – I saw them and I was like, ‘Oh my God! It’s perfect!’ These were inspired by the planets and planetary photographs.”</p>
<p style="text-align: center">For the eyes, he applied a pressed pigment in Deeply Dashing wet and buffed it out around the eye. He applied Haute &amp; Naughty Mascara before cutting MAC’s No. 7 Lashes and placed individually. He finished the look by applying lip conditioner before swiping on <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/156/1791/Mineralize-Blush/index.tmpl" target="_blank">Mattene Lipstick</a> in Delectable.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">As for the nails, Ruiz explained how easy it was to pull off Nicole Miller’s Time Machine manicure. “You can actually do this yourself at home. It’s very DIY,” she said.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">To nail this look, start with a base of CND’s Plumville. Once dry, you can swirl the brand’s Electric Orange, Bicycle Yellow and Anchor Blue on top with a toothpick. It may take some time, but the results are well worth the wait!</p>

<p style="text-align: center">We woke up bright and early this morning to get a sneak peek of the hair look for <strong>Peter Som’s</strong> Fall 2012 show. <strong>Wella Professional</strong> Global Creative Director of Care &amp; Styling, Eugene Souleiman helped us read between the lines of the sleek, yet carefree, hair that would walk the runway.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">“It&#8217;s masculine in the front and feminine in the back, “ he explained, as he wanted to keep a sleek, minimalistic feel that was sophisticated without being so serious to compliment the collection’s structured silhouettes. “I wanted to stay away from color and focus more on texture.”</p>
<p style="text-align: center">He first washed and conditioned the hair using <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Wella-Enrich-Moisturizing-Shampoo-Coarse/dp/B004WMFVJW" target="_blank">Wella Professional Enrich Shampoo</a>, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Wella-Professionals-Enrich-Moisturizing-Conditioner/dp/B004WMFVLA/ref=pd_sim_hpc_2" target="_blank">Conditioner</a> and <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Wella-Enrich-Moisturizing-Treatment-Normal/dp/B004WMFVU6/ref=pd_sim_hpc_1" target="_blank">Treatment</a>, to strengthen, moisturize and provide locks with shine. He prepped the tresses with <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Wella-Brilliant-Colour-Protecting-Lotion/dp/B004JULPHO/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1328923164&amp;sr=1-1" target="_blank">Stay Brilliant Color Protecting Lotion</a> and blew it dry with a large round brush for texture. Next a deep side was smoothed down flat with a tight ponytail at the nape of the neck. The tail of the pony was then sprayed with <a href="http://www.amazon.com/WELLA-Ocean-Spritz-Texture-5-07oz/dp/B004XJIBAU/ref=sr_1_sc_1?s=hpc&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1328923215&amp;sr=1-1-spell" target="_blank">Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Spray</a>, twisted into a bun and blasted with the blow dryer. <a href="http://www.amazon.com/WELLA-Sculpt-Force-Flubber-4-58/dp/B004XJIAP6/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1328923251&amp;sr=1-1" target="_blank">Sculpt Force Flubber Gel</a> slicked down the front to make it look wet and shiny. The bun was undone and the back was sprinkled lightly with baby powder and backcombed a bit to create even more texture and volume. This look certainly breathes new life into the undone ponytail!</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blogs.glam.com/glamblush/files/2012/02/PeterSomBackstage2.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13670" src="http://blogs.glam.com/glamblush/files/2012/02/PeterSomBackstage2.jpg" alt="" width="640" height="435" /></a></p>

<p style="text-align: center">Last night we got the chance to head backstage and check out the rehearsal for <strong>Libertine’s</strong> Fall 2012 show with senior artist for <strong>MAC</strong>, Chantel Miller. Channeling the dark and glittering styles of the collection into the models&#8217; look, Miller took the chance to try out the newest offerings from the beauty brand.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">“It’s the first time I’m using a pressed pigment in general,” she said. She turned up the edge with spicy brown smoky eye from the brand’s upcoming Fall Trend Eye Palette with a touch of pressed pigment in Deeply Dashing swept above it.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">She used MAC’s BB cream, which isn’t available yet in the U.S., only where it was needed on the face for a raw look. “It’s almost like a Radiant Touch product,” explained Miller. “It’s almost like a light bender, but it’s not a light bender that any other brand has. It goes on and it hits the light and – it makes you look young! And it makes the young girls stay young.”</p>
<p style="text-align: center">For a slept-in feel, she used <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/793/4043/Chromaline/index.tmpl" target="_blank">Pro Black Cream Liner</a> on the outer 2/3 of the lid. She then slicked a little liner under the eyes only to wipe it away and painted on a few coats of <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/152/10182/Haute-Naughty-Lash/index.tmpl" target="_blank">Haute &amp; Naughty Mascara</a> to create clumps and perfect the morning-after look. The lips were understated as Miller applied <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Posh-Paradise-mattene-lipstick-DELECTABLE/dp/B005NBSMSS" target="_blank">Mattene Lipstick</a> in Delectable and set it with <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/160/4462/Prep-Prime-Transparent-Finishing-Powder/index.tmpl" target="_blank">Prep &amp; Prime Loose Powder</a>.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">Overall, the Libertine girl needed to look like she just spent a great night out. “A casual, smoky – next morning chic,” she said. We think every girl will easily pull this off come fall!</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blogs.glam.com/glamblush/files/2012/02/Libertine2.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13661" src="http://blogs.glam.com/glamblush/files/2012/02/Libertine2.jpg" alt="" width="640" height="362" /></a></p>

This season Corey Lynn was inspired by the childhood pastime of playing in your mother’s closet, crafting vintage looks with accordion pleated sleeves and skirts, striped and printed dresses, lacey shrunken blazers and suits with color coordinated fur collars and wool capes.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blogs.glam.com/glamblush/files/2012/02/CLC2.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13654" src="http://blogs.glam.com/glamblush/files/2012/02/CLC2.jpg" alt="" width="581" height="558" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center">Lead makeup artist and Too Faced’s Global Artistry Director, Kalina Fernandez, played on the hues in the collection with dramatic cat eye looks in purple, teal, coral and hot pink with loads of lashes. She paired them with soft, shine-free skin thanks to <a href="http://www.toofaced.com/p-532-primed-poreless-skin-smoothing-face-primer.aspx" target="_blank">Primed &amp; Poreless Face Primer</a> and <a href="http://www.toofaced.com/p-531-primed-poreless-priming-powder-and-finishing-veil.aspx" target="_blank">Powder</a> as well as the <a href="http://www.toofaced.com/p-427-amazing-face-oil-free-close-up-coverage-foundation.aspx" target="_blank">Amazing Face Close-Up Coverage Foundation</a> and <a href="http://www.toofaced.com/p-473-full-bloom-ultra-flush-blush.aspx" target="_blank">Full Bloom Blush</a>. She then crafted a perfect pout to complete the look with the <a href="http://www.toofaced.com/p-501-lip-of-luxury-champagne-essence-lipstick.aspx" target="_blank">Lip of Luxury in Drop Dead Red</a>. With all this color, we doubt we’ll catch the winter blues!</p>

<p style="text-align: center">We&#8217;ve all dreamed of makeup that lasts all day and all night without a single smudge or any fading. Although keeping your makeup for hours on end seems impossible, you can up your chances by using a primer. Even though it&#8217;s an extra step in your beauty routine, using a primer will help hold your makeup in place so you won&#8217;t have to touch up as often later (and who has time for a million touch ups, anyway?). Try one of our favorites and runaway makeup will be a thing of the past.</p>
