Sweet, cute, and always funny, we simply adore these small-screen, fun-loving fathers.
Homer Simpson, The Simpsons
Okay, so he has his faults. He drinks too much. Eats too much. Strangles a little too much. But deep down this big daddy is a mush who works a thankless job at the power plant to support his family. He might be a bit dimwitted, but Homer J. Simpson loves his kids and adores his wife. They should be proud to call him papa.
Danny Tanner, Full House
It’s tough raising three girls without a female role model in the picture. (Except for Becky, of course.) But Danny Tanner raised three (for if you count Mary Kate and Ashley separately) lovely little ladies … with a little help from Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey.
Jason Seaver, Growing Pains
With a wife in the workforce, Dr. Jason Seaver moved his psychiatric office into his home. Now, he’s a stay-at-home dad. We ladies definitely respect that!
Steve Keaton, Family Ties
This hippie-turned dad manages to maintain his free spirit lifestyle despite having three kids. That is groovy.
Dr. Cliff Huxtable, The Cosby Show
Daddy Huxtable is officially our favorite small-screen dad of all time. He’s adorable, quirky, and quick with the comebacks. He dotes on his wife and takes good care of his children. And he’s awfully funny to boot!
