If Tori Spelling and Erica Domesek have anything to say about your newest obsession this summer, get ready to craft and be prepared to watch the glitter fly.

To celebrate the series premiere of Craft Wars on TLC, Erica hosted an intimate screening at the Soho House with a vertiable who’s who of the Twitteratti, from @Bergdorfs (Cannon Hodge) to @DKNY (Aliza Licht) to @Fashionista_com (Leah Chernikoff) to @LuckyMagazine (Lauren Sherman and John Jannuzzi). With endless candy at the ready, Erica introduced the guests to her newest creation, but not before getting a little bit emotional about the evening’s excitement. Thanks to discovering an appreciation for crafting at a young age – eight to be exact – Erica transitioned her passion into a career, launching a blog, book, and now a television show all devoted to her first love.

In between surprise appearances from Tori’s children, inventive challenges, and a healthy dose of Mod Podge, comes the true gem of the show: ridiculous catch phrases that you’re sure to love even if you’re not into DIY activities. Thanks to a bit of sassiness (and clever editing, surely) the glitter does fly and rhinestones do roll.
