This season, American Horror Story goes inside Briarcliff Manor: an infamous insane asylum where in 1964 a disturbed serial killer named Bloody Face called it home. Jessica Lange plays Sister Jude, who rules with an iron fist, where evil lurks in the shadows of the many padded cells in this “sanctuary of healing” with the power to unravel the mind. Once admitted, reality and insanity will blur as serial killers, Nazis, mutants, aliens, and the other deranged residents mingle with the staff of doctors and clergy to atone for their sins. Dark secrets, lust, manipulation, murder, and more will have viewers glued to their couches and watching with the lights on.
