It’s been an amazing year for pop music! From PSY‘s international “Gangnam Style” and crossover artist Taylor Swift‘s amazing week one sales, to Rihanna‘s worldwide sweep on the 777 Tour and Fun.’s party anthem “We Are Young,” this year gave us some hits that we just can’t get out of our heads. As the year draws to a close, we’re already mourning the end of the Flo Rida , Adele, and Justin Bieber-mania that only 2012 could bring. Today’s Buzz Alert, though, will help the biggest songs of the year live on well into 2013. YouTube sensation Daniel “kimaginati0n” Kim is giving us a non-stop, eight minute mashup that compiles more than 50 of the most infectious pop records of the year. There’s David Guetta‘s “Turn Me On,” Gotye‘s “Somebody That I Used to Know,” and Carly Rae Jepsen‘s breakout hit “Call Me Maybe.” And that’s only the beginning.
