The 85th Annual Academy Awards did not go off without its hitches and critics, mainly directed at host Seth MacFarlane, but don’t expect Tina Fey to fill his shoes next year.

Though the comedienne slayed this year’s Golden Globes with pal Amy Poehler and many lamented during the show that the pair should have hosted, Fey has shot down the idea. The pair may have had their fun with hosting but having Oscar duty would be no easy feat, especially for a woman. “I just feel like that gig is so hard,” she told The Huffington Post.  “Especially for, like,  a woman – the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone…no way.”

This comes on the heels of MacFarlane denying he would ever host the show again, noting that the job was similar to Star Trek’s impossible Kobayashi Maru test. It looks like Poehler may be audiences’ last chance for Academy Award show success!
