Have you heard about the hottest new lawyers on the scene? Smart, eager, ambitious… and did we mention attractive? They’re the men of Sterling, LA’s most prestigious law firm in ABC’s new series The Deep End. We wanted to introduce you to these sexy new lawyers, led by their boss Cliff Huddle, played by Billy Zane. And who doesn’t love him?
Cliff Huddle (Billy Zane) is Sterling’s nefariously charming managing partner. The “Prince of Darkness” as he’s referred to by some, Cliff is a gifted lawyer, but also intimidating and rather narcissistic. He loves power, money, and sex, and knows how to use them all. He’s married to a fellow partner, Susan Oppenheim, but that doesn’t keep his eye from wandering to some of the other young ladies in the office.
Now the first-years: let’s start off with the all-American nice guy, Dylan Hewitt (Matt Long). Dylan is empathetic, loyal, dedicated, and an incurable romantic. But don’t let that fool you – this nice guy has a wild streak to him – in the pilot episode Dylan was almost caught in bed with Katie, his boss’ mistress! Don’t worry, this sweetheart didn’t know about their secret until it was a bit too late.
You might expect that type of sticky situation to be more descriptive of our next first-year, Liam Priory (Ben Lawson). Notorious playboy Liam has a weakness for the ladies, but is also charming, extremely intelligent, and one of the most honest people you could ever meet. He might be developing a soft spot for fellow first-year Beth, could it be that this playboy has finally met his match?
Last but definitely not least, Malcolm Bennet (Mehcad Brooks from last season’s True Blood) is the newest of the first-years. Hired outside Sterling’s traditional process at Hart Sterling’s request, Malcolm is brilliant, athletic, a little aloof, and very funny. In the most recent episode, Malcolm and Addy almost get the firm in a huge heap of trouble for a misunderstanding about medical marijuana – what a way to start off!
You can catch up on all the drama with LA’s hottest lawyers and prepare yourself for next Thursday’s new episode by watching full episodes of The Deep End on ABC.com.

Wow. That’s really all I can say. Did you all see Pink’s performance last night at the Grammy Awards? It was breathtaking. She sang beautifully, and then stunned the crowd with her phenomenal Cirque-du-Soleil performance. I know it was similar to what she did at the VMAs, but I still thought it was just as impressive and absolutely flawless. What did you think?
Didn’t catch it? You have to see this … Watch it here!
