Store Spotlight: Chloe Opens in Bal Harbour

South Beach has a reputation for being a party hot spot, but thanks to French fashion powerhouses like Chloe—which just opened its third U.S. outpost in nearby Bal Harbour—Miami is becoming an international shopping destination to rival New York, Tokyo, and Paris. And why not? With an average temperature of 75 degrees, the city’s climate allows for designer duds to be worn year-round. (Plus, it doesn’t hurt that Miami’s tan and toned residents can pull off all those fitted, flirty separates.)

The Chloe store’s kick-off bash attracted the area’s most glamorous residents, as well as equally fashionable tourists including singer Cat Power, actress Elisha Cuthbert, and model Ines Rivero.

For most, the dress code was—what else?—Chloe, save for Miss Power, who opted for a cheeky Chanel clutch. (No doubt it’s been her must-have accessory since she became the face of Chanel several months ago.) If a stop in the Miami area isn’t on the docket anytime soon, you can easily co-opt Chloe’s breezy-chic vibe online, click here for a shopping shortcut. x S.C.
