At long last Friday has come around again, which means for many—myself included—it’s time to hit the beach. What’s your favorite beach cover-up and why? Heidi Klein “Jenny” kaftan, because it looks great during the day with flip flops or over white jeans at night. It is a really soft cheesecloth which is great for travelling, as it doesn’t crease .

What’s your current beach read? The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

What’s one thing that you would NEVER bring to the beach & why? High Heels – they’re too dressy and you would sink in the sand!

What’s your favorite thing about your New York store?
It’s a really light and airy store, which is reminiscent of a Hamptons home, and the great paved floor fantastic back drop for the beautiful selection of the Heidi Klein collection and other great brands, like Eres, Missoni, Bo’em. The store smells great (our coconut scent) and is really relaxed making you feel like your holiday has just started!
