Models sporting sideways buns were the only thing off-kilter about the Rebecca Taylor show—everything else stuck to the straight and narrow. Elongated feminine silhouettes ruled, including calf-length pencil skirts, three-quarter-length summer coats, and floral-appliquéd blouses tailor-made to be tucked in. Cropped tuxedos layered over satin dresses made for a nice mix of men’s and women’s ’30s formal styles.
