Interior of Brioni’s new Bal Harbour shop
When you think of Florida style, beach gear in ‘80s pastels may be the first thing that comes to mind. Fortunately for those Floridians not interested in channeling a South Beach sungoddess or Miami Vice look, many international luxury labels have set up shop on the Bal Harbour sands. The latest house to arrive on the city’s well-coiffed shores is Brioni, the storied Italian label best known for their well-tailored suits. There’s lady-like skirts, luxe totes, and nipped-waist blazers for the bronzed beach babe who likes to lunch at the country club and trim-fitting separates for her beau to wear on the golf course. With sophisticated threads like these now readily available to nomadic sun-seekers, Florida’s style stereotype may turn out to be a thing of the past.
