Sadly I’m not in London for fashion week, (sob, sob) but if I was, here’s what I’d be all giddy about:
1. Welsh designer Julien MacDonald leaving his Dynasty-era frippery alone for a season and embracing ‘90s shapes and shades instead.

Matthew Williamson Spring 2008
2. London resident Matthew Williamson seamlessly weaving the season’s African prints in with flirty, I-know-I-look-fantastic silhouettes.
3. Luella Bartley giving girly looks some much needed punk-inspired edge.
4. The fact that the Basso & Brooke boys let their distinctively intricate patterns soften into dreamy watercolor washes.
5. British house Aquascutum lightens up a little, turning out festive patterns, smart jackets, and sculptural spring coats.

i’d kill to be there. then resurrect whatever i’d killed and kill it again. lfw favorite of mine was reem or victim. reem probably edges out as top pick- very much on my aesthetic level.
