Rose McGowan, backstage at the Dolce & Gabbana show
This (above) is what we’re used to Dolce & Gabbana girls looking like: Curvaceous, coquettish, and seemingly always clad in some sort of cinched or satin-y number. The best of the bunch maintain a balance between class and sass, teetering on the fine line in killer stiletto heels.

Come spring however, devotees of the Sicilian design duo (which include Rose McGowan and Naomi Campbell, who attended yesterday’s show) will trade in their traditional flirty threads in for more refined, artistic ensembles.
For day, the designers showed conservative dresses in nude and nearly transparent silks which would spice up the workplace instantly.
And of course, the showstopper dresses—voluminous tulle constructions doused with multi-color paint washes—made a big splash on the runway. The gowns would no doubt do the same for those willing to take a risk on the red carpet.
