FaceHunter photos on display at Colette
Last night Colette, the coolest shop in town and perhaps the world, opened its doors for a fete that honored the top fashion blog-tographers around the globe. Photos from The Sartorialist, Facehunter, Cobrasnake, Misshapes, and Jeremy Kost were all on display—and the shutterbugs behind the soon-to-be seminal shots were all on hand too.

The dress code called for arty, picture-ready ensembles and nearly everyone took snaps of one another, all while holding a drink in hand.

Those with the speediest trigger fingers got to take a quick shot of Karl Lagerfeld, who made a 30 second appearance at the fete and reportedly disappeared into the basement, never to be seen again (perhaps there’s a secret tunnel from the store to his own abode?).

Though not comparable to catching a glimpse of Lagerfeld, part of the fun was looking at all the latest clothes en masse, as the mannequins had been pushed together to form a stylish army.
If, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, these fly-on-the-wall video clips to give you a million-word summary of the soiree.
