The new Tiffany & Co store, as seen in the New York Post
Good news for Holly Golightly fans: Tiffany just opened up downtown. The jewelry and fine goods emporium opens the doors to its Wall Street store today—the house’s first new outpost in 60 years. The new locale—an impressive space which consists of a whopping 25 stories—is fully stocked with wares to suit those on every rung of the corporate ladder: According to today’s Post, the most expensive piece, a diamond drop pendant, tops out at a cool $3.5, while a sterling silver Wall Street medallion comes with a friendly $125 price tag; Just the thing for a young trader in need of a good luck charm.
But if a shopping trip to the Financial District isn’t in your datebook, don’t fret. In addition to finishing up the new boutique, the Tiffany team recently re-launched the house’s website. The new e-commerce site ups the ante on internet chic by showcasing many a precious product, and features designer bios and the company’s history—which seems to be steadily expanding. —Lucy George
