So while I hunkered down at home battling a nasty post-fashion week flu (symptoms: inexplicable irritability, fatigue, allergic reaction to models, cocktails, heels and handbags) the Hollywood set kicked up their heels at Monique Lhuillier’s store opening bash. Key members of L.A.’s lean and leggy crowd turned out to the designer’s Melrose outpost, wearing—what else—Lhuillier’s camera-ready dresses. Former Noxema-girl Rebecca Gayheart looked fresh-faced and fashionable, while Kate Mara worked the trendiest, most covetable accessory of late; a cinnamon-red mane. Someone get that girl a cosmetics contract, A.S.A.P.
