Comme des Garcons Fall’08
It was announced today that H&M has tapped Comme des Garcons‘ Rei Kawakubo as its next collaborative design star. Paying homage to the avant-garde Japanese label, the line will launch in H&M’s Tokyo outpost before rolling into select stores worldwide. No word yet on which American stores will offer the unexpected collaboration, but is interesting to ponder how the folks in Milwaukee will take to Kawakubo’s forward-thinking threads.

H&M is taking over the world, last month they took over like 60% of the cheap monday company and the guest designers lately has all been great. I was a bit disapointed at Madonnas collection though….But Kawabuko’s I believe will be a hit!
