As anyone–even those pour souls with only a passing interest in fashion–will tell you, anything with the Hermès’ H is the crème de la crème in the eyes of the ultra-rich. The houses’ Birkin bags, for instance, are made for those with a Black Amex or a decent IMDB listing, but the new Bugatti Veyron FBG (no idea what FBG stands form, sorry) with an interior designed by Hermès? Well, priced at an ice-cold $2.3 million, this one of a kind über-car speaks to Monte Carlo’s high rollers, Moscow tsarinas, and low-rent gents with delusions of grandeur. Patrons of those circles as well as a few Hollywood goddesses and glamorous mortals were on hand earlier this week to fete the vehicle’s cameo in Manhattan. (Including my current girl crush, In Treatment’s Melissa George.) Held at Hermès Wall Street outpost earlier, the soiree featured the luxe Bugatti outside, while inside, the car-curious sipped champers and scooped up Hermès perfume (the only place where the fragrance is stocked, and the only item with a somewhat approachable price-tag), wondering what else could be had for $2.3 mil. Any ideas?

FYI… From Bugatti’s press release on the car.
“The official name of the highly exclusive Bugatti Veyron “Fbg par Hermès” refers to the historic Hermès headquarters on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, in the heart of Paris’s eighth arrondissement: the “Fbg” appellation evokes the house’s “faubourg” address.
