Former Project Runway contestant Malan Breton received a standing ovation after the presentation of his Spring 2009 collection. It was a great show, aside from the fact that it took place at 9 a.m. (Seriously―that should be illegal). I’m glad I was able to pull myself out of bed to see it.

The collection included something for just about every woman. From a casual afternoon outfit; printed high-waist shorts and a sleeveless blouse, or a belted tennis dress, to a silk chinoise jacquard evening gown, the pieces in Breton’s collection would fit easily into any woman’s spring wardrobe.

Breton definitely showed his expertise with this collection, paying special attention to details like the tie-back that he included on both trousers and dresses. You’d be hard pressed not to find something to like in this collection.
