Few combinations make more sense than the Plaza Hotel and chic baubles. On Monday night Lia Sophia’s Elena Kiam and Nylon’s Dani Stahl, who brings creative direction to the red carpet collection, invited their nearest and dearest to pile on sparkly earrings, necklaces, cocktail rings and bracelets. Shoshanna Gruss, Charlotte Ronson and The City’s Olivia Palermo had a field day trying on pieces from the Spring 209 collection, which fuses futuristic form and stylistic function. Called “2020″ this season features modular and architectural shapes with crystal details. We expect to see these pieces on editors, starlets and socials all over town.
